- This museum was incredible. It does not look anything too special from the outside. A wooden cabin / shop and outside an area where the dogs do dog runs ($10 per person). Once inside you enter through the gift shop. The museum itself is free and that is what we found fascinating. We are completely new and naive to Iditarod.4.5/5(427)

- The Iditarod Headquarters is in Wasilla, very easy to fine. Great place to go , the staff are very knowledgeable. This was a repeat visit for me. I was in Alaska for the Iditarod race, a must! Depending on the time of year you visit, you can meet mushers and their team. Rides are available.4.5/5(424)

- We loved our visit to the Iditarod Headquarters. I will say that our expectations were low based on the the Yelp reviews. The museum itself isn't much. There's a big gift shop and a room where they show movies about mushing and the Iditarod race. They also have photos of the winners and lots of trophies in the room. That's it for the museum.3.5/5(9)
