- OUR STORY: Rogue was originally founded in 1988 in Ashland, Ore by Jack Joyce. In 1989, our founder was scouting for a new location for Rogue on the Oregon Coast. He got caught in a freak snowstorm in Newport and was walking the streets when he met Mohava Niemi, aka "Mo" (founder of Mo's Restaurants) who extended her signature hospitality and offered to rent Jack space to open a brewpub.

During hop harvest, Icon Motosports sent three riders on Himalayan motorcycles to Rogue Farms where they picked Mosaic hops right off the vine, filled their backpacks and sped them to Rogue World Headquarters. There we brewed a one-of-a-kind beer: a wet hop hazy IPA with blueberries and apples.
